The Blog That Doesn’t Do It Justice

AcornBecause I keep my silence, doesn’t mean I don’t fight screaming

Just as I seek and wonder, I still search for the meaning

I look to read between between the lines

Between the space between you and I

I battle myself, my logic, my pride

But at the end of the day I wonder why

Before my eyes I can plainly see

Exactly your heart as it’s fixed upon me

For the knowledge to mean something

Everything I’ve known must mean nothing

So I remain where I am and continue to hide

Despite what I want, my hands are still tied
